We are offering an exciting opportunity in the non-profit industry situated in Markham, Ontario. The role is for a Director of Sales who will be instrumental in developing key growth sales strategies and maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process, from planning to closure.Responsibilities : - Strategize and execute plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers- Understand customer needs and objectives and partner with them to meet those needs- Communicate effectively the value proposition through proposals and presentations- Keep abreast with category-specific landscapes and trends- Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts- Utilize skills in Account Management and Business Development to drive sales- Apply knowledge of Community Outreach and Distribution Centers to expand customer base- Manage the sales team effectively employing Team Management and Performance Management skills- Leverage Relationship Management and Lifecycle Management skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.- Use Benchmarking to measure performance against competitors and industry standards. The role provides an opportunity to apply and enhance skills in account management, business development, community outreach, distribution centers, field sales, lifecycle management, relationship management, team management, benchmarking, and performance management.- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the food or manufacturing sector- Demonstrated proficiency in Account Management and Business Development Skills- Proven track record of successful Community Outreach initiatives- Experience in managing Distribution Centers- Expertise in Field Sales and Lifecycle Management- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships through effective Relationship Management- Strong Team Management capabilities, with a focus on developing high-performing teams- Proficiency in Benchmarking and Performance Management- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close- Strong business sense and industry expertise- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close- Strong business sense and industry expertise- Willingness to travel as required by the role- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
