This is a 2 year CONTRACT ROLE. The Director of Finance will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities
The role involves managing all accounting operations, including full-cycle accounting, payroll for 45 employees, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing weekly committee reports, monthly board updates, and quarterly forecasts while ensuring compliance with ASPE. The person will work with senior leadership to support strategic financial planning and oversee projects. Additionally, the role requires ownership of financial processes, problem-solving within non-standardized systems, and handling ad hoc accounting tasks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation and has strong knowledge of ASPE. They bring proven expertise in full-cycle accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to manage financial operations both independently and collaboratively. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability in non-standard environments, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders are essential.
