Do you have a DEC degree in either industrial robotics or electromechanics? Are you a PLC programming specialist? Are you looking for a position in the West Island, day schedule and no weekends? Our client, a manufacturing company in the aviation industry, is looking for an Automation Technician to join their dynamic team!What they offer : - Salary up to $65K upon experience.- Flexible Work Environment : Casual dress, no weekends, and consistent Monday-to-Friday day shifts (8 hours).- Comprehensive Benefits : Extended health care, dental and vision care, life insurance, disability coverage, and an employee assistance program.- Financial Security : Company pension plan, RRSP matching, and paid time off.- Employee Well-Being : Wellness programs, on-site parking, and language training opportunities.- Culture & Connection : Engaging company events and a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.Your profile : - At least two years of experience in automation & robotics.- DEC in industrial robotics or electromechanics.- Proficient in creating and interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics.- Expertise in PLC and pneumatic systems design.- Skilled in implementing safety systems and architectures.- Fundamental knowledge of robotics programming (robot motion control, reference point adjustments, and position editing).- Experienced in industrial electrical panel wiring.- Basic understanding of electrical engineering (power supply for electrical cabinets).- Competent in basic mechanical tasks (screwing, drilling, and equipment assembly).- Familiarity with TCP / IP and Ethernet / IP communication protocols.- Knowledge of safety devices (e.g., laser scanners, light curtains, safety interlocks).- Proficient in PLC programming for Siemens, Omron, and Phoenix Contact (Codesys) systems.- Advanced skills in Fanuc robotics programming.Language Requirements : English- Level of Proficiency Required : Advanced - Reasons for Language Requirement : Collaborate with the teams in the US- Frequency of Use : Daily (for various tasks)Your role : The Automation Technician ensures the seamless, efficient, and safe operation of machinery and automated processes. They are responsible for installing, calibrating, and programming automated systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance production workflows.
