JOB TITLE : Automation Technician - HVAC

WORK LOCATION : Montreal, QC

Permanent, full-time position

SUMMARY

The candidate's main responsibilities will be to support the team of refrigeration technicians and project managers. Additionally, they will assist in the creation of custom control solutions.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Programming control logics
Participating in the technical development of projects
Assisting sales in presenting technical solutions to clients
Assisting refrigeration technicians in finding control solutions
Keeping up to date with industry trends and innovations
Training and supporting clients in the use of automation products
Assisting sales in evaluating specifications and costs of automation projects
Managing the phases of technical project implementation
Monitoring project progress and proposing solutions to meet established deadlines
Developing and interpreting plans, specifications, and reports
Ensuring the quality control of delivered projects
Providing technical support for the purchase, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation products

REQUIRED PROFILE

Knowledge of building mechanics

Knowledge of DELTA control products is an asset

Strong communication skills

Ease of learning computer systems

Ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications

Valid driver's license

Meticulous, rigorous, diplomatic, and resourceful
