SkiBig3 , encompassing Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Mt. Norquay, is seeking an exceptional leader for the position of Senior Operations Director. This role ensures the smooth operation of the organization by implementing strategic initiatives, managing daily operations, and acting as a key liaison between the President and various departments. The Director will work closely with the leadership team to drive growth in skier visitation to Banff and Lake Louise, aligning efforts across all departments.
The Senior Operations Director will be based in Banff to maintain proximity to operations, resorts, and stakeholders, enabling meaningful relationships and delivering results.
Key Attributes :
- Implement strategic plans to increase skier visitation, aligning with destination goals and stakeholder interests.
- Oversee daily operations, refining processes, documenting procedures, and training staff to optimize seasonality.
- Manage projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Provide leadership to operational staff and committees, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to identify growth opportunities in revenue, guest experience, employee engagement, and stakeholder relations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners such as Banff & Lake Louise Tourism, Travel Alberta, and Destination Canada.
- Possess strong financial management skills to support financial growth and sustainability.
