Job description

Principle Objective :

To educate Retail partner teams by providing them with the product knowledge, service and selling skills necessary to meet sell-through goals, service standards and turnover targets. This will be accomplished through the following competencies : In store education sessions and eventing support, seasonal seminar support, and partnership with the Field Executives and Commercial and Branded Education Managers and Field Sales Director. The Field Executive Trainer will execute strategies planned by the Commercial and Brand FETM & FSD in the territory. This role will be highly focused on Specialty Multi-Channels to fuel growth and earn market share.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

1. Top Mall Strategy- SMC Focused.

  • Reviews and confirms in-store time with Commercial Field Education Training Manager and Field Sales Director to achieve sell-through plans and increase rank and market share in Top Malls.
  • Provides coaching and development at Point of Sale through in store workshops, brand programs and marketing calendar focuses. Focuses on basic business.
  • Executes Product Education Sessions and POS Education Programs in store.
  • Execute brand and multi-branded eventing in selected top doors.
  • Establishes regular communication with Field Executives to support regional priorities in Top Malls to assess progress and address coaching and development needs to guarantee sustained results in productivity, performance, and service standards.
  • Develops strategic relationships with retail partners to fuel growth in focus channels and to earn market share.
  • Works with FE’s in each region to ensure timely execution of key priorities and adheres to corporate vision, guidelines, and expectations.
  • Spend 70% of time in store.

2. Lead Orientation, Development and Education for Freelancers in Top Doors

  • Participates in the selection of Freelance / On Call team members in markets they support, in partnership with FE & CFETM.
  • Assists with Orientation, On-boarding and on going in store education with internal teams in partnership with FE & CFETM.
  • Ensures Freelance Beauty Advisors understand their goals, job expectations, and priorities and meet and exceed SPH & hero goals.
  • Ensures the delivery of regular, effective & professional feedback to Freelance team members in partnership with FE.
  • Manages seminar attendance, planning and no shows through partnership with FETM and FEs
  • 3. Seminar Facilitation & In store Follow-Up

  • Teaches Retail Partners innovation, heroes and brand priorities as cascaded from Brand and Commercial Education Manager. This includes product knowledge, selling skills, and service standards for them to consistently exhibit behaviors resulting in meeting or exceeding target goals.
  • Assist in the facilitation of seasonal seminars in partnership with Brand and Commercial Training Management.
  • Follows-up on seminar objectives to ensure they are coached at point of sale.
  • Works on special projects (i.e., task forces, etc.) requested by the FSD, Commercial FETM & Brand FETM’s as needed to meet and exceed corporate goals.
  • Oversees development and retention in top doors through monthly communication, and seasonal coaching.
  • 4. Additional Responsibilities :

  • Models image and hygiene standards for all brands when in store and leads by example to meet and exceed Commercial / Brand image guidelines.
  • Key Shopping Moments : It is an expectation that we are all in stores focusing on sales support during key shopping moments like Sephora Promo and retail priority days.
  • Develops Business Manager’s ability to achieve their core job competencies and develops positive, productive working relationships that lead to retention.
  • Creates and maintains a strong partnership with Field Executives to streamline efficiencies and keep messages to Business Managers and Counter Managers clear and consistent.
  • Manages allocated T&E and Air Travel budget within agreed upon guidelines.
  • Flexibility in scheduling required based on needs on the business.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications :

  • Post-Education required.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in sales and / or education.
  • Candidates must have strong developmental and indirect management experiences which have been demonstrated by positive past sales performance.
  • Solid coaching, leadership and communication skills are also a must.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations.
  • An independent self-starter with a strong understanding of the value of teamwork in meeting expectations
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite),
  • Knowledge of Power BI / CRI considered an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $63,900, 95,900. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
