Job Title : Integration Specialist

Position Overview

The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that enable seamless data flow and communication across multiple IT systems and applications. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, ensuring systems are connected, data is accurate, and processes operate efficiently. The Integration Specialist plays a key role in supporting scalable, secure, and reliable system integrations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development

Analyze business and technical integration requirements and design effective integration solutions
Develop integration workflows, data mappings, and transformation logic between systems
Implement integrations using middleware platforms, integration tools, and automation frameworks

System Connectivity

Establish, configure, and maintain connections between enterprise systems and third-party applications

Ensure secure, accurate, and reliable data transfer across systems

Utilize APIs, web services, and other integration technologies to enable system communication

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide technical support for integration-related issues

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration failures or data discrepancies

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive solutions

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Monitor integration performance and system health

Identify performance bottlenecks and data latency issues

Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reliability

Documentation & Training

Create and maintain technical documentation for integration architectures, workflows, and processes

Develop user guides and support documentation for internal teams

Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer on integration tools and best practices

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with business analysts, developers, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Communicate integration status, risks, and progress to stakeholders

Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for external integrations

Security & Compliance

Implement security controls to protect data during system integrations

Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements

Support audits and conduct regular reviews of integration security and controls

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing system integrations

Strong understanding of APIs, data mapping, and middleware platforms

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and analyze data flows

Strong documentation and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
