Database Administrator

Job Description

The Database Administrator (DBA) will possess extensive knowledge and practical experience in ORIENTING COMPANIES ENFORCING STRENGTH DATABASE environments with MS SQL, along with proficiency in one or more of the following : Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL. The DBA’s responsibilities include managing database operations such as installations and upgrades, data access and migration, high availability, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Furthermore, they will provide technical leadership in areas including database design and smearings, security, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure robust support for business‑critical applications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Database Management

• Manage all database instances, including creation, configuration, and monitoring
• Proactively ensure optimal availability and performance of the database systems
• Ensure 24x7 operations of customer‑critical database systems
• Implement and support cloud‑based database solutions
• Provide guidance on data modelling, database design and infrastructure
• Design and implement highly available, redundant database solutions
• Generate standard operating procedures for database operations in order to standardize all relevant database activities

This is a regular, full‑time position with a salary range of $73,600 - $92,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, professional designations and performance related to this role.
