We are currently recruiting for professional security officers to work at a high profile RCMP site in Chilliwack. Fulltime staff are required to work 4 on 4 off, days, afternoon and graveyard shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the security industry and eager to gain experience working directly with the RCMP.

Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public / working with law enforcement

Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office, and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner

Strong multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational skills

Physically fit and assertive, including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols

Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills

Some of your responsibilities include :

Performing exterior patrols

Maintaining official visitor logs, count sheets, sign-in / out sheets

Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents

Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations

Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner

Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards

Your Must – Haves …

Valid BC Security Licence

Lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposes

OFA 1 or willing to obtain

Class 5 Drivers Licence
