Job Title : Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to set up and weld spiders, parts, and coils across all manufacturing lines according to drawings, procedures, and special instructions. The role requires loading, unloading, and operating various welding machines, including robotic welders, for diverse welding tasks. Responsibilities also include fitting bus bars, welding, and brazing cables and wires, preparing and welding D-Q rings and terminals, and ensuring all welding certifications and recertifications are up to date.

Responsibilities

• Setup and weld parts as per drawings and procedures.
• Operate different welding machines, including robotic welders.
• Fit bus bars and weld / braze cables and wires.
• Prepare and weld D-Q rings and terminals.
• Pass all welding certifications and re-certification tests by CWB.
• Stage welded materials for transfer to other departments.
• Use measuring equipment, hand tools, air tools, power tools, and welding instruments.
• Check and read drawings, blueprints, and other manufacturing documents.
• Operate various Powered Industrial Trucks, cranes, and scissor lifts.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of department equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed.
• Ensure proper tools management and maintain an accurate inventory of tools.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.
• Lift up to 50lbs and report any safety hazards.

Work Environment

Work in a rough industrial environment with rotating shifts (Days : 6 : 30am-3pm, Afternoons : 3 : 30pm-11pm). A midnight shift will also be available soon (11 : 30pm-6 : 00am). The environment is well-lit, equipped with fans for hot weather, and extra breaks are provided if needed. The facility takes all necessary measures for safety, including extra cleaning and air purification. Please note, candidates should not be allergic to resin, as contact is possible.

The pay range for this position is $73860.80 - $73860.80 / yr.
