RVA is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Transportation team in a full‑time permanent position.
Duties :
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents and drawings.
- Communicate with other Project Site Inspectors and Construction Administrator or Project Manager.
- Set up, facilitate and participate in project meetings.
- Prepare meeting notes and project memorandums.
- Review and process contract extra work claims.
- Prepare and process monthly progress estimates.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and the public as required.
- Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.
Qualifications :
Civil Tech diploma OR an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post‑secondary institution.Superior English communication skills both oral and written.Minimum 15+ years’ experience in a similar role, and related to linear projects including water mains, sewers, roads is a project requirement.Contract administrative experience is a strong asset.Must have a valid class G driver’s license and his / her own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned work site.Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Benefits :
