Overview:
Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Developer to provide support to their Platform Services division. The role provides for shared enterprise services. The OSS Infrastructure Developer provides application, tools, operational support systems & operating system infrastructure support.

Role:

-Design, testing & deployment of application, operating system & tools infrastructure for the PharmaTrust Platform.

-Development & maintenance of design documentation, commissioning guidelines, provisioning guidelines & specification books.

-Development and/or deployment of systems administration automation for high scale environments.

2nd tier OSS infrastructure technical support

-Incident, root cause analysis, & repair of OSS infrastructure problems

Skills and Experience Required Include:

-University Degree: Computer Science
-Strong English language communications skills, both written and verbal
-Good documentation skills, ability to write technical English

-5 or more year’s administration experience with open source web based application infrastructure, including Java application engines (Glassfish, Apache, and Tomcat).

-5 or more years experience with open source operational support software (e.g. Freeradius, DCHP, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, NTP, trouble ticketing, etc)

-5 or more years experience with large scale virtualization environments using Xen & Hyper-V, Linux (Ubuntu Server), system administration automation (e.g. cfengine) and system administration scripting (Perl and/or python)

-5 or more years experience with open source database infrastructure (mysql, postgresql), setup, configuration & tuning

-Experience with large scale high availability highly virtualized computing environments

-Experience with Voice over IP & Video over IP software infrastructure (freeswitch, asterix) desirable

-Knowledge of enterprise service bus technology (OpenESB, ServiceMix, MuleESB)

-Excellent technical skills, ability to debug, think logically and work problems under pressure.

-Ability to work productively and complete assigned work with minimal supervision.

-Experience with ITIL v3 environments & processes
