Location : Montreal, Full-Time, Mid-Level Experience

The Opportunity :
As the Public Relations Executive specializing in Brand Awareness and Online Presence at Valnet, you will lead strategic initiatives to elevate the company's visibility across various online platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful PR campaigns, leveraging digital channels, and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the company's brand image.
What you will be doing :
Manage & optimize the company's PR strategy (press releases & distribution of press releases).
Curate lists of media contacts within a variety of categories relevant to current Valnet portfolios
Lead in the planning and execution of PR plans, such as creating project timelines, drafting press releases, etc.
Examine current PR strategies and develop new strategies to improve upon current results and / or to meet new goals.
Manage corporate reputation by working towards shaping the public perception of the corporate identity.
Maintain contact with external stakeholders to ensure continued business relationships and follow-on opportunities.
Ensure brand consistency across marketing materials
Build and expand our online presence through the creation of a Valnet Wikipedia page.
What you need to succeed :
5+ years of related experience working in a Public Relations role or equivalent function role.
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
Bilingual (fluency in English and French is mandatory).
Exemplary writing and editing skills in both English and French.
Experience in the digital media / publishing industry.
