Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and payment documents.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support their needs.
  • Handle routine financial calculations and data entry with precision.
  • Keep abreast of accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
  • Use accounting software and spreadsheets to organize and analyze financial data.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in an accounting clerk role or related field.
  • Organizational and attention to detail required to perform activities in a deadline driven environment, working with constant interruptions.
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel), and PDF
  • Knowledge or experience with software such as SAP, Quickbooks, SimplyAccounting, Yardi
