We’re looking for a Veterinary Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact in the lives of pets and their people.

Compensation: $20–$22/hour, based on your knowledge and skill set Overnight Premium: $2/hour (7pm-7am) Weekend Premium: $2/hour (7am-7pm) Anticipated Schedule: Information Coming Soon Potentially 10 or 12 hour shifts, overnights, weekend, occasional day shift.

What You’ll Do: As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll support our Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency & Critical Care teams in delivering high-level care.

You’ll be an essential part of our patient care flow — whether you're preparing an ER tray, comforting a hospitalized patient, or keeping our clinic running smoothly.

Your day-to-day may include: Assisting with diagnostics and procedures like Fine Needle Aspirates, Tru-Cut Biopsies, and surgical anesthetic setups Providing compassionate restraint and ensuring safety for patients and team members Keeping patients comfortable with clean bedding and gentle handling Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and maintaining aseptic technique Supporting surgery teams on procedures such as fracture repairs and mass removals Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment What We’re Looking For: A high school diploma (Post-Secondary Animal Care Program preferred) Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in animal care (clinic, shelter, wildlife center, etc.) A calm, confident presence with strong communication and teamwork skills Someone who can multitask under pressure and provide excellent client care Why Choose CTVRC/EC?
