Senior Staff Accountant
Our client have an immediate opening for fulltime and part time Senior Staffaccountant.
JobDuties :
- Compliancereview of tax returns for individuals corporations trusts andpartnerships and the related foreign reportingrequirements
- Participate in tax planningengagements and the preparation of technical taxmemos
- Prepare instruction letters for theexecution of corporate reorganizations estate & postmortem taxplanning business succession planning and the purchase & saleof a business
- Conducting tax research andinterpreting tax legislation and proposed legislativechanges
- Providing technical expertise as aninternal resource to staff who need tax support on their clientfiles or on specific questions from theirclients
- Preparing client correspondenceincluding; reports & analysis discussion of technical issuesand recommendations and attending client meetings whereappropriate
- Providing assistance to otheroffices of the Firm as required and collaborating with otherservice lines across thefirm
MinimumRequirements :
- Graduateof a University Accounting Program orequivalent
- Pursuing a Chartered ProfessionalAccountant (CPA) Designation
- 2 years ofexperience in a public accountingfirm
- Willingness to enroll or enrolled in theCICA InDepth Tax Course
- 23 years of workexperience with Canadian IncomeTaxation
