Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and generate new business within the territory.
- Proactively solicit business through a mix of planned visits, cold calls, and relationship building with existing and prospective customers.
- Manage and nurture existing accounts, aiming for regular customer visits.
- Provide effective sales and application solutions for general construction equipment needs.
- Handle administrative duties promptly, including sales plans and reports.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate customer records.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Profit Center, Rental Management) on equipment and programs.
- Regularly visit construction sites as a core part of the sales activities.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of direct sales experience.
- Strong communication, project management, and new business development skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, stay highly organized, and remain self-motivated without constant direct oversight.
- Demonstrated resilience, particularly in cold calling or new business development environments.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with the drive to manage and grow your own territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Comfortable with frequent outdoor work and physically visiting construction sites.
