Your new role

As the Office Manager / Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law office.

Your responsibilities will include :

Managing the law office :

Drawing on your previous experience, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, including administrative tasks, office supplies, and facilities management.

Full cycle recruitment :

You’ll actively participate in the recruitment process for Articling and Summer Students. This involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating their onboarding.

Strategic initiatives :

Collaborate with partners to execute firm-wide strategic initiatives. Your insights and organizational skills will contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Partner-level support :

As an integral part of our team, you’ll assist partners with various tasks, such as scheduling, and project coordination.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous law office management experience :

You should have a proven track record of effectively managing a law office, understanding its unique requirements, and optimizing processes.

Recruitment expertise :

Experience in full cycle recruitment, including interviewing and onboarding, is essential. Familiarity with legal hiring practices is a plus.

Strategic mindset :

You’ll be involved in shaping the firm’s future. Your ability to think strategically and execute initiatives will be highly valued.

Strong organizational skills :

Managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities is crucial. Attention to detail and efficiency are key.

Excellentmunication :

You’ll interact with lawyers, staff, and external stakeholders. Clearmunication and interpersonal skills are essential.

What you'll get in return
