As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a key role in the concrete construction process, ensuring that concrete surfaces are properly finished and prepared for final use.

Working under the supervision of the foreman or project manager, you will utilize your expertise in concrete finishing techniques to achieve smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surfaces.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in concrete construction.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by setting forms, spreading and leveling concrete, and ensuring proper alignment and elevation.
• Operate hand and power tools, including trowels, screeds, edgers, and floats, to finish concrete surfaces to the desired texture and appearance.
• Apply and finish concrete toppings, overlays, and coatings according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Repair and patch damaged or uneven concrete surfaces using appropriate materials and techniques.
• Install and finish decorative concrete elements, such as stamped patterns, exposed aggregates, and colored finishes, to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure that finished concrete surfaces meet project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including equipment, tools, and materials, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques, including troweling, edging, and floating, to achieve smooth and level surfaces.
• Knowledge of concrete materials, mixes, and curing processes, as well as their effects on finished surfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and carrying heavy loads.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other crew members and project stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as needed.
