Your Day to Day :
- Ensuring accurate documentation of completedwork as per policies and procedures
- Preparingprescriptions (gathering data from nursing staff) to be filled viadispensary software
- Processing adjudicatingdispensing and filling prescriptions via Pacmedautomation
- Maintaining a clean and safe workenvironment
- Maintaining strict confidentialityand ethical standards
What You Bring To TheTeam :
- Experience as aPharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited PharmacyAssistant program
- Working knowledge ofpharmacy calculations
- Visual acuity numeracydetail oriented manual dexterity appropriate for handling strippacks prescription bottles and labels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Stronginterpersonal communication skills able to maintain a professionaldemeanor when speaking with clientele. Remains calm under pressureand is able to meet tight deadlines
- Excellentorganizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience; strong motivation tosucceed
- Possess a positive cooperative andteamoriented attitude
- Experience with KROLLand / or Pacmed an asset
