AbouttheRole :

Jolerais looking for an energetic, seasoned Senior Network Engineer tojoin our team for a permanent full-time opportunity.

Reporting tothe Director of Platform Delivery, the incumbent will beresponsible to provide leadership and be accountable for theinstallation, maintenance, security, availability, monitoring,reporting and quality of services for the VoIP, LAN, WAN andInternet network environments.

The successful candidate will beself-motivated, with a strong work ethic and excellent analytical,communication and interpersonal skills.

The candidate will be thetechnical prime lead and subject matter expert and senior advisorto the team.

WhatYou WillDo :

• Technical primein any incidents affecting Network and Voice operations,accountable for root cause analysis and remediation activities,including working with vendor support to resolution.
• Interface with customers to complete networkrelated projects and to troubleshoot network related customerissues.
• Implement configurations, connectivity and maintenance ofnetwork devices to include Routers, L2 / L3 Switches, Firewalls, LoadBalancers and Wi-Fi Access points and controllers.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technicalsupport incidents and problems.
• Manage,monitor, and maintain core network services that include LAN, WAN,WLAN.
• Isolate, resolve, and document alloperational and technical problems and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain network managementprocedures including the documentation of procedures for dailyoperational support for the Voice, LAN, WAN, and routingInfrastructure (e.

g., backups, logging, etc.)

• Monitor, troubleshoot, identify, and remedyareas of congestion and / or degraded quality.
• Secure network systems by establishing andenforcing policies and defining monitoring access.
• Monitoring and management of network and voiceinfrastructure for continuous uptime and SLA maintenance. Thisincludes support for enterprise Cisco UC environment which containsCall Manager, Unity Connection, Presence, VCS, and emergencyresponder.
• Working quickly on open ticketsassigned to group and participating in impact analysis whereapplication for related ticket issues.
• Theposition requires periodic work outside regular business hours fortesting and change implementation as well as additional hours forproblem resolution as part of the on-call rotation outside ofregular business hours for products and services supported by theteam.
• Report of risks, trends, and servicegaps to IT leadership
• Create and activelymaintain network and collaboration technical configurationdocuments and topology maps.
• Be proactive inidentifying new network technologies and assessing their adoption.
• Perform failure / root cause analysis duringproblem resolution process.
• Build a solidworking relationship with the customer base and vendors.
• Responding to business customer support calls.
• Managing network equipment in the datacenter(s).
• Audit work practices to establishedprocedures, developing new procedures and documentation asrequired.
• Participate in network / voicetechnology evaluation and architecture planning processes asrequired.
• Carrying a cell phone and beingon-call on a rotational basis arerequired

Qualifications :

• ComputerTechnology degree / diploma or equivalent experience with a minimumof 5-years’ experience in an Enterprise level VoIP / Network Supportposition.
• Experience working with variousnetwork technologies such as : Cisco Networking Software (IOS, XE,XR, and NX-OS), Cisco ISE, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, F5 LoadBalancers, Citrix NetScaler, VMware Networking, QoS, IP, SIP andSIP Trunking, MGCP, H.

323, SCCP, T.38, FXS / FXO, Call Routing / DialPlans.

• Expert level working experience inCisco ASA’s, F5, NetScaler, CUCM
• Knowledge ofcloud platform and services
• Experience in themanagement of Enterprise VoIP network infrastructures.
• Experience with network management andreporting systems including SolarWinds.
• Experience with supporting Barracuda / Ciscofirewalls.
• Experience in load balancers likeF5 and Citrix.
• Deep analytical skills fortrouble-shooting network related issues, including diagnosingpacket captures.
• A strong sense of personalresponsibility and accountability.
• Well-developed organizational skills withspecial attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working in a team-oriented,collaborative environment.
• Excellent verbaland written communication, documentation, interpersonal andcustomer service skills.
• Well-developed timemanagement skills, with the ability to work well under timesensitive deadlines and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
