Credit Analyst, Director - Technology, Media, Telecommunications – Toronto. Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director to cover North American Corporates in the TMT sector, with offices in New York, Chicago, or Toronto. This role involves qualitative credentials, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to communicate complex analytical topics clearly in a team-oriented environment.

We’ll Count On You To

• Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of companies in the TMT sectors;
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models;
• Conduct meetings with industry management teams;
• Present analysis of companies to internal credit rating committees;
• Communicate rating rationales to external audiences (institutional investors, sell-side analysts and media) in meetings, conference calls, press releases, and written research reports;
• Write timely and effective research on topical issues;
• Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates, as well as other related credit groups;
• Represent Fitch in panel discussions and conferences arranged by industry associations or regulatory bodies;

Mentor junior members of the team; may include managerial responsibilities.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY : The anticipated base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $175,000, with potential eligibility for incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation and may vary based on experience, education, and location.
