We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead customer-facing aerospace manufacturing programs from contract award through delivery. This role is responsible for driving on-time, on-quality performance while managing cost, risk, configuration, and overall program execution. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and comfortable leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Base Pay Range
CA$110,000.00 / yr – CA$120,000.00 / yr
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact for all program-related matters, including planning, scope changes, reporting, risk mitigation, engineering issues, and commercial discussions.
- Own overall program performance, ensuring delivery, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Planning, Estimating, and Operations to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Monitor program progress against plan, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Identify, assess, and manage industrial and geopolitical risks throughout the program lifecycle.
- Chair recurring program review meetings focused on delivery performance, cost control, and continuous improvement.
- Provide clear program visibility and reporting to senior leadership through structured reviews and dashboards.
- Manage NPI and production program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets.
- Lead RFQ activities and support contract and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure full compliance with AS9100, customer-specific quality requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Respond to all customer inquiries within the same business day, providing estimated response timelines when required.
- Maintain consistent and proactive customer communication at agreed frequencies.
- Validate delivery commitments internally prior to confirmation with customers.
- Complete contract and purchase order reviews within agreed timelines and maintain KPI reporting.
- Ensure quotation responses and PO acknowledgements are completed on time and tracked against performance metrics.
Internal Program Responsibilities
Participate in daily production meetings to ensure alignment and issue resolution.Conduct weekly assessments of program status, including order-on-report (OOR) updates within ERP systems.Chair weekly Integrated Program Team (IPT) meetings and distribute documented meeting minutes.Prepare and present program reviews to senior leadership on a monthly or quarterly basis.Develop, manage, and track "get-to-green" recovery plans for delivery and quality performance.Monitor and report action closure timelines related to program recovery and risk mitigation.Health & Safety

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Program Management role within aerospace manufacturing .Strong knowledge of build-to-print manufacturing , including machining, special processes, and assembly.Experience working with ERP / MRP systems .Solid understanding of AS9100 quality requirements.Familiarity with Export Control, ITAR, and Controlled Goods regulations.Strong customer-facing skills with experience working directly with senior customer stakeholders.Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in deadline-driven environments.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and business-minded.Strong influencing skills with a track record of driving actions to closure.Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Commitment to workplace safety, 5S, and continuous improvement.Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).MBA or PMP certification is an asset.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an asset.Leadership Attributes
