Software Engineer Lead - DevOps Engineer

Open to any of the following Canada Locations: Ontario, Quebec, AB, BC

Must be in Canada for 5 yrs to potentially qualify for security clearance.

Overall 4 to 7 years of experience having strong knowledge of automating and orchestrating workloads on Azure, Azure DevOps (VSTS), Infrastructure automation using ARM Templates and automating Azure services.

Good hands on experience in scripting with bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Azure CLI and ARM Templates.

Experienced Azure DevOps Architect to perform development and operations on Cloud applications with Azure Pipelines. CI/CD Management, CI/CD Automation script writing.

Manage and support customer environments in Microsoft Azure cloud. Manage the full release process.

Working knowledge of how to deploy and manage microservices using Service Fabric, Docker, Kubernetes and Linux/Windows containerization.

A strong working understanding of networking, including load balancing and firewall methodologies.

Candidates should be flexible and willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes, but is not limited to, Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Software Engineers perform requirements analysis. They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualification: 3‑7 years (at least 2 years of relevant experience) and a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Should have or be seeking SE Level 1.
• Should have progressing knowledge in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
