This CNC Machinist will be responsible for running and programming CNC equipment to ensure ongoing usage, minimize downtime and maximize cost-effective operation.

Responsibilities

Responsibiltiys of this CNC machinist role are :

• Follow detailed blueprints
• Program and Set up your machine
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment and or facility equipment
• Follow department policies and procedures and work within industry guidelines
• Participate in troubleshooting equipment for repair
• Edit or write existing programs

Qualifications

Experience in programming and running CNC / conventional machines

Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics

Familiar with principles of hydraulics, pneumatics, run-in analysis, and PLC’s

Knowledge of mechanical systems, metal fabrication and machining

Ability to edit / write existing programs
