Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Raw Material Coordinator to join our client's supply chain team in Mississauga, ON. In this position you will play a critical role within our client's cross-functional program team, including Supply Chain, Commodity Purchasing, Program Purchasing, and Industrialization in supporting a new program currently in development. This position is responsible for managing raw material sourcing, ensuring on-time procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and coordinating all purchasing activities required to support ongoing production and program readiness.

- Schedule : 7 : 30 am to 4 pm (M-T) and 7 : 30 am - 12 : 30 pm (Friday)

Raw Material Sourcing & Procurement
Lead the raw material sourcing process by issuing RFQs, analyzing supplier quotations, obtaining commitments, and selecting suppliers aligned with company requirements for cost, quality, and technical specifications.Identify and source available or alternative raw materials through internal channels, stockists, or certified distributors, including managing certification requests through the Material Validation Board.Mitigate raw material shortages and ensure continuous supply coverage for internal sites and Tier 1 suppliers .Order Management & Supplier Coordination
Place purchase orders and monitor their status to guarantee timely placement and delivery.Conduct supplier follow-up, participate in supplier calls, and provide regular status updates to internal teams.Analyze supplier delivery schedules, identify discrepancies, and drive corrective or preventive actions.Coordinate raw material priorities and order status updates across Supply Chain, Industrialization, Program Purchasing, Quality, and Production Program Management.SAP Contract & Data Management
Set up and maintain supplier contracts in SAP, including costing forms, pricing details, and contract creation.Formalize new contracts and program developments in SAP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial requirements.Maintain and update purchasing data such as performance reports, NRC budgets, and procurement entries.Issue Resolution & Reporting
Maintain and distribute weekly raw material sourcing status updates to internal stakeholders.Escalate supply shortages or risks as needed to ensure business continuity.Manage and resolve blocked invoices to support timely vendor payment.Prepare and deliver reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.Ensure full compliance with purchasing processes, procedures, and documentation standards.Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, tools, and methods.Support innovation and efficiency initiatives across the purchasing and supply chain functions .Qualifications :
Degree or background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or related field preferred.Experience managing supplier relationships and supporting industrial or technical projects.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize, synthesize information, and proactively solve problems.Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced, and international environments.Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office SuiteMu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
