Job Summary

The Financial Accountant will bring a solid background in accounting department experience to a diverse set of responsibilities.

The role encompasses financial review and monthly accounting cycle tasks. This important role includes a wide variety of accounting, finance, and general business aptitude - and a whole range of skills will be developed as you work with a seasoned and successful team that is already in place in a brand new and modern office in Ville Saint Laurent.

Description :

• Assisting and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company's accounting records and financial systems.
• Prepare and assist in review of journals and final GL balances including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end accounting duties and reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Provide support for the auditing processes both internal and external.
• Prepare daily / monthly banking reconciliations.
• Preparing lease payment schedules.
• Responsible of property taxes for multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with government remittances including GST, HST and PST.
• Carry out any further tasks for which your qualifications & experience are suited as directed by the Company.

Qualifications Required

• 5 years of experience in an accounting finance role
• CPA designation is a plus.
• Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of SAP an asset
• Detailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills (French & English)
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Focused on teamwork and collaboration.
