Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.

Position Overview

Canadian Armed Forces military members receive comprehensive medical care from outpatient clinics on the Canadian Forces Bases across Canada. Pharmacy services are integral to the interdisciplinary teams on site. A full-time pharmacist is needed to work at the pharmacy at Canadian Forces Base in Cold Lake.

The pharmacy operates Monday-Friday, 7.5 hour shifts / daytime hours. We are looking for a Pharmacist who is available to work 18.75 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will be responsible for dispensing medication and educating patients on their medications.
• Liaising with Physicians and reviewing medication inventory will be part of your regular duties.
• You will have the opportunity to directly impact the health and wellbeing of our Canadian Armed Forces while working autonomously in the pharmacy.
