Process Improvement Engineer

We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing operations through continuous improvement initiatives for our client . This role focuses on applying Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, optimize workflows, and support safe, high-quality production processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives , including one-piece flow, 5S implementation, and Kaizen events.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and develop improved methods related to product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, ergonomics, machine guarding, and materials.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and equipment vendors to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow analysis, space planning, and equipment layout optimization.
• Support manufacturing decision-making by calculating labor and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and forecasting future requirements.
• Prepare and maintain product and process documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health & safety, environmental, and industrial regulations .
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and established procedures.
• Train, coach, and guide technicians during design and process improvement projects.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional networks.
