My client is a reputable IT solution company who works closely with elite clients in the market. They are currently looking for a Senior Services Engineer to the team.
Position will be mainly responsible for technical Tier 3 support, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, systems, servers, networks and cloud infrastructure, as well as managing projects effectively and interacting efficiently with stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Provide level 3 support for our Managed Services, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring high levels of system performance and reliability
- Administer, manage, and optimize infrastructure components including servers, networks, and cloud environments (Azure and Office 365)
- Install and configure new equipment / systems according to specifications
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues before they cause significant problems
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Provide direct support to external clients by responding alerts issued by monitoring systems
- Participate in afterhours on-call support rotation
Requirements :
- A post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Management or relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in an level 3 technical support role with a desire to develop their technical and customer service skills
- Experience in providing network (wired & wireless) management & security architecture, design, implementation, and support for various IT environments
- Strong technical skills in supporting physical Hypervisor hosts, Windows Server Environment, Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, desktop applications, mobile devices, phone systems and end-user hardware, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange / 365
- In-depth knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN, VPN, network security systems, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with Intune, Defender, Exchange, and other Microsoft applications
