Level : Experienced; 3 years post graduation

Compensation : $120,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience

Birchmount Animal Hospital, l ocated in Scarborough, Ontario, is currently welcoming a Veterinarian to join our associate team! As a successful candidate for this role, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team to provide the best care possible.

Responsibilities

2 to 3 years post grad experience; soft tissue surgical procedures, end of life procedures, dental procedures grade 1 and 2 and other preventative care or treatment plans

Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

Guiding pet owners on care for their fur babies

Coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

Coaching and mentoring junior veterinary technicians and assistants

Qualifications

A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada; fully licensed from an accredited school or foreign trained with a certificate of qualification completed.

Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and the community

The ability to manage multiple appointments

Accurate medical record keeping

Ability to adapt to each appointment and the services required for that patient
