About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager with a background in Capital Markets or Banking to lead complex projects that drive transformation and efficiency across our financial operations.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, results-driven professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects within capital markets or banking environments.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project life cycles, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage complex projects in the Capital Markets or Banking sectors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop project plans including scope, budget, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising internal stakeholders, external vendors, and third-party partners to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor and track project progress using project management tools and techniques, regularly reporting status, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications, keeping all parties informed of progress, risks, and potential impacts on timelines or deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring that projects are compliant with regulatory and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, providing recommendations to optimize project processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Prepare and present project updates and status reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all project deliverables in alignment with banking and financial services regulations.
• Lead post-project evaluations to analyze outcomes, learn from project experiences, and capture best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of project management experience with a strong focus on Capital Markets or Banking sectors.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects within a financial services environment, preferably in capital markets, investment banking, or trading.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and banking operations, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in project management.
• Familiarity with banking regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, MiFID, Dodd-Frank).
• Knowledge of financial products and trading platforms is an advantage.
