About the Role: We are seeking a
ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer to design, implement, and optimize vulnerability management workflows within our ServiceNow environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating vulnerability scanning tools with ServiceNow, automating remediation processes, and leveraging CMDB relationships for accurate risk assessment and prioritization.
Key Responsibilities: - Integrate vulnerability scanners (e.g., Qualys, Tenable) with ServiceNow’s Security Operations (SecOps) module.
- Automate the creation and assignment of vulnerability response tickets based on scan results.
- Develop and maintain risk-based scoring models to classify and prioritize vulnerabilities.
- Leverage CMDB relationships to accurately assess business impact and improve vulnerability response efficiency.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and ServiceNow platform teams to ensure accurate data flow and timely remediation.
- Optimize workflows and dashboards to enhance visibility into vulnerability posture and remediation progress.
- Maintain documentation, best practices, and standard operating procedures for ServiceNow SecOps integrations.
Required Qualifications: - Proven experience integrating Qualys, Tenable, or similar scanners with ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of CMDB, risk scoring models, and ITSM processes.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with security operations, vulnerability management, and IT risk management frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications: - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Operations (CIS-SecOps).
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools within ServiceNow.
- Background in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or IT infrastructure.
