Job Overview

Our client, a leading global consumer brand, is seeking a Front-End Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to support the design, enhancement, and continuous optimization of their e-commerce storefront. This role focuses on front-end development within the SFCC ecosystem , delivering high-quality, responsive, and performance-driven customer experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end components for Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefronts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Implement and customize SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) , including templates, UI components, and assets

Translate UX / UI designs into responsive, accessible, and high-performance e-commerce experiences

Collaborate with back-end SFCC developers, designers, and product teams to deliver new features and enhancements

Ensure cross-browser compatibility , performance optimization, and adherence to front-end best practices

Support ongoing releases, hotfixes, and deployment cycles within the SFCC environment

Participate in code reviews and contribute to reusable front-end patterns and standards

Troubleshoot storefront behavior, styling, and client-side logic issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–6+ years of professional front-end development experience, preferably in e-commerce environments

Hands-on experience developing front-end solutions in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

Experience with SFRA, ISML templates, and client-side controllers

Familiarity with front-end build tools, Git , and deployment workflows

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured front-end code

Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile teams

Preferred

Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks

Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices

Exposure to headless or composable commerce architectures

Prior experience supporting global consumer or retail brands
