In this role you will be responsible for coordinating logistics, contractors, equipment moves, production continuity, and safety throughout the relocation lifecycle. Lead the full lifecycle of an industrial relocation project-from initiation to post-move stabilization.Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and execution strategies.Serve as the primary point of contact for operations, engineering, facilities, supply chain, IT, HR, and external partners.Plan and execute phased moves while maintaining zero production downtime and continuous customer service.Oversee equipment, tooling, inventory, and personnel relocation to the new site.Select, manage, and evaluate contractors for rigging, transport, construction, and facilities work.Ensure full compliance with occupational health & safety regulations; lead hazard assessments and risk mitigation.Coordinate permits, inspections, and regulatory approvals.Track budget performance, forecasts, and variances; implement corrective actions as needed.Provide clear communication to employees, contractors, and leadership; prepare executive-level reports and dashboards.Support employee transition activities related to the move.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, or related field.PMP certification strongly preferred.8-10+ years of progressive project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, R&O, or heavy-maintenance environments.Proven experience leading large-scale industrial relocations or major operational transitions.Strong knowledge of industrial equipment moves, rigging, logistics, and facility operations.Advanced skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and negotiation abilities.Excellent understanding of occupational health & safety regulations and best practices.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage high-risk, high-complexity projects.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
