Work arrangement : (Hybrid) 2 days in office –Wed and Fridays

Contract Duration : 3- 6 months will be renewed on a monthly basis due to changes in the funding source.

Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE? –Yes / possible

Story Behind the Need

Business group : CCA Retail Digital Engineering –Develop and support online and mobile banking platforms for the Caribbean region focussing on retail customers

Initiative : Faster Payments - Guyana, Barbados initiative. The contractor will be working on existing backlogs for mobile.

This position will give the candidate exposure to the Google Cloud Platform and the ability to lead the project team and design and implement solutions.

Typical Day in Role :

• Analyze highly complex business requirements;generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
• The majority of time will be focused on the Wave Mobile app project, but there could be some occasional ad hoc work

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills :

1) 5+ years of experience in Android development

2) 5+ years of experience in Kotlin development

3) 3+ years of experience with RxJava + OkHttp + Retrofit –demonstrated in recent project work

4) 3+ years of experience with MVP and MVVM architectures

5) 3+ years of experience in accessibility and testing
