Job Description :

• Provides leadership, direction and ongoing coaching and training
• Ensures all site staff adhere to all Paladin Security policies and procedures
• Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training
• Ensures proper documentation is passed onto the Field Manager / CSM
• Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
• Communicates any concerns / issues with Supervisor / Client Service Manager
• Manage day to day operations of the mobile department

Requirements :

• Must possess a valid G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement / Security program from a recognized college
• Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
• Must provide drivers abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years.
• All successful applicants must undergo a vulnerable sector check

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites :

• Immunization Record (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, TB skin test 1 & 2)
• Must be able to provide a clean shaven for passing an N95 face test.
• A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• First Aid and CPR Level C
• 2 COVID-19 Vaccinations proof
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)
• Must possess a valid G Class driver’s license
• Minimum driving experience of 3 to 5 years
• Must provide driver’s abstract
• No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years.

Additional prerequisites :

• Must be able to commute to Toronto for pre-deployment training (4 training days M-F)
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) from ASP provider.

Other security providers different than the ASP will not be allowed and applicant will have to enroll into Paladin's UoF / MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.

• Please be aware : The UoF / MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training and will provide you with their certification upon succesful completion with a 6 month commitment to the position availability.
