Job description

We are seeking a Senior Bilingual Marketing Specialist to develop and execute a national marketing strategy for a program dedicated to fostering a love of reading in children across Canada. This crucial role involves providing strategic communication, including promotion, media relations, and social media, to increase the program's reach, drive awareness, and boost registration.

The anticipated duration is 952 hours over 12 months, with an estimated start date of January 1, 2026. A potential extension of up to 12 months may be available.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Experience: Three or more years of experience developing and executing national marketing plans.
- Campaign Management: Proven ability to manage social media and promotional campaigns.
- Stakeholder Relations: Strong experience working with diverse stakeholders, including corporate sponsors and national partners.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be fluent in French and English to a professional working level.

Summary
This Senior Marketing Specialist role is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual, experienced professional to apply their expertise in a national setting, directly impacting a literacy program for children across Canada. The specialist will lead strategic communications and marketing efforts to significantly expand the reach and impactof the focused program. This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
