Position : Senior Control Systems Specialist
Location : Cambridge, ON
Pay Rate : $40 - $52 per hour (depending on experience)
Industry : Manufacturing / Automation / Controls / Electrical
Employment Term : Fulltime / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Develop controls designs and electrical schematics
- Commission and test machines and equipment at client site
- Robot programming and configuration of multiple manufacturers industrial robots
- Develop PLC / HMI / SCADA programs using various platforms
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Manage client relationships and project scope as needed
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Post Secondary education in electrical engineering, controls, or a related field
- 7+ related Controls Specialist experience
- Knowledge of different programming software (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, etc.)
- Technical understanding of SCADA, motion control, and peripheral systems
- Able to travel local and international as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
