Intermediate/Senior Piping Designer
Wood is currently recruiting for an Intermediate / Senior Piping Designer to join our Calgary office within the Oil & Gas Canada business unit.
We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual with strong knowledge in Piping Design within an EPC environment.
Our projects team has a long history of delivering some of the biggest and most complex projects in Oil & Gas along with associated pipelines and refinery infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities : .
- Communication with clients
- Create and develop 3D model using various modeling software.
- Create moderate to complex Layout of areas and modules.
- Modeling large equipment
- Reviewing and comment on vendor information
- Adhere to industry codes and standards.
Skills
- Engineering design and drafting technology diploma or related technical diploma or certificate.
- 10+ years of experience in piping design and layout experience
- Extensive experience working with specific codes and standard practices in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Design Software
- Previously project experience in Upstream Oil Sands is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide and manage status updates and provide necessary recommendations.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
