Order Desk ( Food Company)

Our client in Scarborough by McCowan and Sheppard is looking for a Order Desk.

Responsibilities :

Taking order from customers by phone, fax, mail, and in person

Working with Trucking companies on outbound orders including rate quotations, preparing bills of ladings, arranging order pickups

Provides product pricing and company information to potential, new and exiting clients as needed

Process orders by issuing packing slips

Assist in areas of office as required, such as quality control, accounts receivable, reception and store

Produces labels as required for all areas of the company

Work closely with other co-workers and departments

Present and conduct yourself professionally at all times

Keep your work area clean and tidy at all times

Perform other duties as per assigned

Job Qualifications :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment

Requirements :

• University Degree Preferred
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
• Accuracy and speed in processing orders, good keyboarding skills
• Proof of Completion of Workers Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps

Salary : $19.00-$27.00
