About the Role :
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to play a defining role in how we build software. In this role, you’ll lead a high‑performing team through complex technical decisions, elevate how we architect and operate production systems, and cultivate a culture where engineers can do the best work of their careers. You’ll own the full lifecycle of the systems your team delivers while driving the adoption of AI‑assisted and agentic workflows that meaningfully accelerate how we design, build, and ship software. What you’ll do :
Lead a cross‑functional engineering team by providing clear direction, aligning around impactful outcomes, and transforming ambiguity into actionable plans while owning end‑to‑end delivery—from roadmap prioritization through quality execution and customer success.
Represent the team effectively in planning, architecture, and strategy discussions.
Ensure the team ships iteratively, learns quickly, and balances speed with stability.
Drive production excellence by fostering team ownership of the full delivery lifecycle, maintaining a consistent and reliable shipping cadence, and partnering with SRE / Platform teams to strengthen CI / CD, observability, and system reliability through well‑defined SLOs / SLAs.
Guide the responsible adoption of AI and agentic workflows by setting realistic expectations, distinguishing hype from practical value, and evaluating tools that measurably improve productivity, code quality, and developer experience without adding unnecessary complexity.
Cultivate a supportive, high‑performance engineering culture by coaching and setting clear expectations, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, and contributing to hiring, onboarding, and performance management to build and grow diverse talent.
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Operations to define and ship high‑impact features, communicating trade‑offs and risks effectively to align stakeholders and accelerate decision‑making.
What you bring :
7+ years of software engineering experience (including 3+ years in management) with a strong foundation in distributed systems, APIs, or data‑intensive applications, deep knowledge of modern SRE / DevOps practices, and a proven ability to operate and improve production systems at scale.
Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, APIs, or data‑intensive applications; able to review designs and code at a meaningful level.
You can take a requirements document and turn it into a structured execution plan.
Partner effectively with Product and Design to deliver user‑focused features while applying hands‑on experience with modern AI tooling to evaluate real‑world value, experiment thoughtfully, establish practical guardrails, and integrate AI or agentic automation into development, operational, or CI / CD workflows.
Demonstrated experience integrating AI into development or operational workflows or exploring / prototyping AI agents or automation around CI / CD, QA, code review, documentation, or operational tasks.
Trusted as the person teams rely on during critical incidents; when something breaks or when translating emerging AI capabilities into engineering reality; experienced in modernizing traditional engineering practices—from CI / CD and ops‑as‑code to AI‑enhanced delivery—and motivated to shape the next generation of how software is built.
