We are looking for a competent person, ready to join the team as an Accounting Technician in Quebec City.
Reporting to a Director, his role will consist of completing client files according to current internal practices and standards.
- The person sought for the position of Accounting Technician will have as his main mandate to take charge of client accounting files;
- Make government remittances (DAS, GST / QST, CCQ, etc.),
- Produce T-4 / RL1, T-5 / RL3 slips and
- also perform related tasks.
- Collaborate in the preparation of month-end and year-end reports
- Conduct financial analyses and prepare various management reports
- Perform bookkeeping and write general ledger entries
- Perform routine accounting transactions
- Record, classify and verify the accuracy of documents relating to payments, receipts or other transactions in accordance with internal accounting procedures;
- Verify, code and approve invoices
- Collaborate in the preparation of statements financial
- Payroll preparation
- Process government remittances
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring
- Collaborate in setting up control systems
- Document existing and new processes
Requirement
- Hold a college education (DEC) in accounting / Hold a DEP in accounting associated with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
- Excellent command of the Office suite
- Proficiency in Acomba and Quickbook software
- Good ability to learn
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- Excellent analytical skills, rigor, attention to detail and attention to details
- Dynamism, professionalism and courtesy
