Calibrate has been retained by Thomson Rogers LLP one of the most established law firms in Toronto in the search for a newly created Chief Operating Officer (COO) role. The COO will elevate the firms operational infrastructure and enable strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a decisive growth-oriented leadership team ready to empower a business professional to drive the next chapter of the firms success.

The COO will partner with and report to the firms Managing Partner to lead internal operations unify support functions and implement sustainable systems that enable lawyers to focus on exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee All Operations : Oversee Accounting / Finance Human Resources Marketing Technology and other firm support functions providing leadership and support and driving excellence across the firm.
• Elevate the Accounting / Finance : Elevate these functions to be more forward and strategic looking and providing the Partners with timely and insightful reporting and forecasting. This would include budgeting forecasting and reporting and equipping firm leadership with data to make informed strategic decisions. Scale the finance operations to match the firms growth trajectory.
• Strengthen Technology and Operational Infrastructure : Drive the integration of technology to drive efficiency and scalability improving the daily operations of the support functions. Balance day-to-day execution with long-term planning to support a growing and high-performing environment.
• Lead Through Influence and Partnership : Foster alignment across lawyers and staff by building trust listening first and guiding improvements.
• Preserve Culture While Enabling Growth : Protect Thomson Rogers collaborative respectful culture while introducing scalable systems that support future expansion.
