Accounts Receivable Technician

Position : Accounts Receivable Technician

Location : West Island of Montreal (5 days onsite)

Salary : $55,000 (Based on experience)

Benefits : 3 weeks of vacation, flexible hours, 3 sick days and more

The ideal candidate for this role :

• At least 1 year of accounting experience (preferably accounts receivables)
• Fluently bilingual for communications outside Quebec
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Capable of working independently and within a team

Main Responsibilities :

• Generate and issue invoices to customers
• Record deposit payments accurately in the system
• Transmit account statements and reports to customers as necessary
• Contact customers via telephone or email to collect outstanding accounts receivable efficiently
• Resolve collection issues by negotiating viable arrangements and conducting follow-up
• Address billing anomalies promptly by interacting with customers
• Maintain positive customer relations to facilitate debt collection
• Communicate promptly any issues requiring escalation to the accounts receivable manager
