Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Position : Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Location : Uxbridge, ON

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience)

Industry : Manufacturing / Shipping / Warehouse

Employment Term : Full Time / Permanent

Responsibilities :

• Assembling pallets of materials to be shipped out.
• Sorting materials on arrival back, and distributing to various areas in shop.
• Loading & unloading trucks with electric pallet truck or forklift.
• Processing of Waybills, shipping documents, and international shipment paperwork.
• Creating POs in the company’s system.
• Following up with vendors on the status of work.
• Assisting Shipping Coordinator in processing shipments.
• Other duties as they arise.

Requirements & Skills :

• Minimum 3-5 years of related shipping & receiving experience.
• Experience with Waybills and other shipping documents.
• Hands-on experience with ERP Systems such as SAGE.
• Experience handling domestic and international shipping.
• Good at Microsoft Office and Windows operation systems.
• Counterbalance forklift experience.
• Crane experience an asset / will train.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
