Straight Shift

AFTERNOON : 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 pm

$20 per hour

start date is in March!

This is a full-time position and a direct hire from day one!!

You will spend most of your probation period getting to learn how to safely operate the Forklift with the Clamp attachments .

Standing most of the day, doing material handling support, general labor tasks and occasionally Forklift until fully trained.

All Protective Equipment will be provided, except for safety shoes

2 -3 years of experience in Counterbalance required in a manufacturing environment

20% Forklift - 80%Material Handling and other warehouse duties

MUST BE PERMANENT RESIDENT OR CITIZEN TO APPLY as this is a direct hire with our client and is their mandatory requirement

Responsibilities

• role will be unloading trucks, loading trucks, order picking
• candidate needs counterbalance forklift experience
• ability to work in a very safety oriented environment
• strong attention to detail
• provide additional general warehouse duties
• heavy lifting involved in some tasks up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• candidate needs counterbalance forklift experience
• minimum 2 -3 years of experience in Forklift (Manufacturing as an asset)
• current license / certification on Forklift (Overhead Crane experience as an asset
• able to commute to the Vaughan region
