Job description

On behalf of our client, a Health related organization within the Ontario Government, we are recruiting for a Front End developer. The project is related to initiating an eForms solution, beginning with the eForms MVP.

The MVP scope includes :

Establishing a provincial library of electronic forms.

Ensuring availability across all point-of-care systems.

Integrating with provincial digital assets (e.g., EHR).

This procurement seeks a contingent resource to support the Ministry’s PB4P – eForms SADIE objective through a digital solution.

Responsibilities

Design and implement web-based applications using a cloud-based architectural framework.

Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to analyze and implement functional and non-functional requirements.

Translate business and technical specifications into working, tested applications.

Develop, unit test, and deploy new system components or enhancements in a DevOps environment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot functional and performance issues.

Follow team development processes including test-driven development, peer code review, change management, and DevOps practices.

Resolve technical issues during application use and operation.

Provide technical assistance in resolution, data conversion, and migrations.

Recommend architecture, technical specifications, and solution designs.

Write clean, reusable, performant code and maintainable solutions.

Collaborate with operations teams to support applications and platforms.

Must-Have Qualifications

Expert-level skills in Angular, TypeScript, and Bootstrap for front-end development.

8+ years of experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) and RESTful API integration.

Proficiency in : npm, Webpack, Babel

Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 and JSON Web Token.

Experience in Agile teams using Azure DevOps (Repos, pull requests, CI / CD pipelines).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience with authenticated, customer-focused applications.

AWS

Relational and NoSQL databases

Familiarity with AODA, WCAG 2.0, and security best practices.

Experience with HL7 FHIR healthcare integration.

Passion for learning new technologies.

Self-motivated and proactive.

Creative, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

High attention to detail.
