Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations (PTUS)
FCC Canada, in a 50 / 50 joint venture with Webuild Civil Works Inc., will deliver the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations section of the Ontario Line. This includes the design, construction, supply, and operation of three kilometres of twin tunnels underneath Pape Avenue between the Gerrard tunnel portal and the Don Valley bridge, two underground stations (Pape and Cosburn), two tunnel portals, three emergency exit buildings, and a rail switch / crossover near Sammon Avenue.
The Pape Station connection will interface with the Toronto Transit Commission Line 2 subway and related works.
The project uses a Progressive Design‑Build (PDB) model, allowing greater collaboration between the project owner and contractor.
