5+ years working in a Team Leader position.
Experience overseeing a group of 10-15 production staff, managing workload and performance.
Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.

Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively work under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the afternoon shift, including coordinating work orders, tasks, and directing resources to meet order fulfillment.
2. Responsible for final inspection and closure of the facility at the end of each shift including locking all doors, setting alarms, etc.
3. Review and oversee final inspection of work orders to ensure completion and the product meets specifications and quality standards.
4. Participate working in a production role as required to complete orders on time. These areas would include seaming, cuffing, quality inspection, packaging and staging.
5. Review and ensure completion of all scanning and documentation required within the ERP (JOMAR) system.
6. Respond to general work-related questions and provide the production staff with direction and guidance on work.
7. Communicate with the Production Supervisor and Manufacturing Manager any challenges with work, scheduling and personnel challenges.
8. Provide onboarding and training to new hires on the afternoon shift.
9. Complete administrative work as assigned from the Manufacturing Manager, such as work order closures, reporting, etc.
10. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
11. Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
Mental Effort Required to Perform the Job :
Frequent mental attentiveness is required when coordinating work within the facility.
Frequent reading of numbers when reviewing specifications and entering data into the ERP system.
Frequent mental effort is required in multi-tasking and handling interruptions that require constant refocusing.
Physical Effort Required to Perform the Job :
Frequently walking and standing for long periods of time.
Responsibility for Supervision :
Responsible for coordinating production resources and assigning work orders.
Responsible for supervising and dealing with personnel challenges, as required.
Responsible for the health and safety within the facility.
Responsibility for Resources :
Responsible for communicating and reporting any equipment or personnel challenges to the Manufacturing Manager.
Responsible for the overall operation and safety of the facility during the afternoon shift.
Responsibility for Decision Making :
Allocates departmental resources to ensure completion of work orders.
